I had a a disc of a capellas that a friend gave me. I picked the song “Say Something” by Timbaland feat. Drake to a club/pop remix of, but the verses weren’t flowing correctly due to the difference in rhythms between my instrumentation and the original. So I found the Dirt Off Your Shoulders a capella which had similar tempo, and mashed them together.

I do all my work on ProTools LE 7.4. My main goal in this is to create a pop music production portfolio, using vocal performnces from various top 40 artists. The aim is to create an exciting, club friendly and radio friendly signature sound.
