Ellectrika is a British music producer/DJ/singer/songwriter. From a young age Ellectrika was making and writing music and has even released two of her own singles. More about Ellectrika's solo work can be found here: http://www.myspace.com/ellectrika http://www.ellectrika.co.uk Her idol from childhood has always been Kylie Minogue and since 1986 she was been a strong influence in Ellectrika's life and creativity. It is from this creativity that Ellectrika found the passion for production and remixing and has, for the last few years, made a whole host of Kylie remixes which have proved very popular with Kylie's fan base. Ellectrika's Kylie remixes have been played in clubs, bars and venues in various countries from Canada, Australia, Spain, USA, France, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Mexico and more. With the universal connections of the internet Ellectrika's mixes have been able to reach shores she hasn't even visited herself. In 2007 a Hong Kong black market CD even featured White Diamond (Ellectrika's Burning Radio Remix), which had become a strong favourite with fans as a studio version of the song had never been released so this remix served as the only uptempo mix of the track as opposed to the only officially released version which was in ballad/acoustic form. Ellectrika's mixing skills range from making edits, re-edits, mixes, remixes, cut-ups and even mash-ups. Some of Ellectrika's best mashups include: Slowhead (Ellectrika's 17th Hour Remix) :: A mash of 'Slow' with 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' :: Sloword (Ellectrika's Alphaville Remix) (Kylie vs Kelly Osbourne) :: A mash of Kylie's 'Slow' with Kelly's 'One Word' :: So Electric At First Sight (Ellectrika's "Such A Rush" Remix) (Kylie vs Lifelike) :: A mash of Kylie's 'Love At First Sight' with Lifelike's 'So Electric' :: Spinning Starz (Ellectrika's Overtones Remix) (Kylie vs Just Jack) :: A mash of Kylie's 'Spinning Around' with Just Jack's 'Stars In Their Eyes' :: Hung Up At First Sight (Ellectrika's Confessed Fever Remix) (Kylie vs Madonna) :: A mash of Kylie's 'Love At First Sight' with Madonna's 'Hung Up' :: and so forth.... Ellectrika is also a dab-hand at megamixes and has put together some unique pieces, blending and mashing various Kylie songs so they all fit together like a neat and electic jigsaw puzzle. She makes her own samples for these mixes and adjusts them so they sit within the mix comfortably, almost as though they should always have been there!! Some of Ellectrika's best megamixes include: My Music Unlimited Megamix - The Rarities Mix '99-'04 (Ellectrika's Megamix) [22:40] :: This megamix even includes a sample of Ellectrika's own single 'Sunflower' along with a host of rare and unreleased Kylie tracks blended with some bigger hits :: The Xpectation Mix (Ellectrika's X-Static Master Mix) [14.36] :: Based around Kylie's 'X' album this mix showcases some rare tracks and unreleased songs from the sessions, backed with the Freemasons Mix of 'The One'. :: The Christmas 2005 Medley - Enjoy Your PWL 80's (Ellectrika's Mix) :: This mix, made by request for a party from another fan, showcases some of Kylie's early PWL hits from 1987-1989 :: Just recently Ellectrika made 'The One (Album Edit)', which clocks in at 3:36 and it is now being used as an official download version on iTunes, HMV, 7Digital and so forth.
